| Job Description | Primary Objective
The job is for a total quality management and consisted of 3 main areas : quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement. It is not only focused on product quality but also to achieve it. The candidate will use quality assurance and control of processes as well as products to achieve a consistent improvement in quality of products.
- To communicate, implement and monitor of Corporate’s quality requirements and standards with all vendors across the region of Asia Pacific. - To work closely with Global QA Manager and Sourcing Director to set future quality improvement strategies and implement of new projects. - To communicate and give advice to vendors for better quality performance in terms of pre-production and production operations. - To actively involve in problem solving with factories regarding quality issues - To oversee and ensure quality complaint are properly resolved
- Degree or Tertiary education at Chemical Engineering or relevant discipline - At least 7 years experience in Quality Management or Quality/Compliance Assurance - Experience with chemical plants is a must - Familiarity with zero defects policy will be a strong advantage - Capable to implement quality system and procedures and set quality control policy to the highest standards required by the Company - Ability to assess production standard capabilities of chemicals' vendors - Meticulous and organized - Good drive and highly initiated - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Excellent command of English is a must - Travel is required
